• Growth up to 120 feet tall, but generally under 70 feet tall.
• Is known to reach an age of 300 years or more.
• Flowers February to April; fruit ripens March to June.
• Adapted to moist soils of bottomlands and upland flats on the east side of the Panhandle along the Canadian, Washita, and Wolf Creek.
